Wellington, Battery Point, Salamanca Place, and the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery. You may even try your luck at the Casino at Hobart, the first in Australia, or tempt your taste buds with beer from the oldest brewery in Australia. |
Day 2 | Port Arthur, Tasman Arch, Devils Kitchen Located in the Tasman Peninsula, the Port Arthur Historic Site is one of the best preserved convict settlements in Australia and among the most significant convict era sites in the world. You will take a guided tour of more than 30 historic buildings and ruins, including the penitentiary, the church, the watch tower, the dockyard, and the Separate Prison. On the way, you will also have the opportunity to explore the 4 natural wonders of the Peninsula: the Tessellated Pavement, Tasman Arch, Blowhole, and the Devil's Kitchen. |
Day 3 | Mt. Field National Park, Richmond, Curringa Farm Spend the morning in the oldest national park in Tasmania. Mt. Field National Park is renowned for the beautiful temperate-zone rainforest, and the famous Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls. The tour then continues to Curringa Farm, where you can see sheep shearing and farm dog displays. The picturesque Richmond beckons in the afternoon.
