Terms and Conditions

Travel World Australia offers a wide variety of tours and hotel bookings. Details of important applicable booking conditions are set out below. As these conditions contain legal obligations, we encourage you to read them carefully. They form the basis on which the bookings are accepted by us, and unless otherwise stated, all purchases made through our company are subject to these conditions.

Booking Conditions

• All transactions are processed in AUD. Price is subject to change without notice. All optionals must be purchased through our company.
• There is a 75% cancellation charge if the booking is cancelled three days prior to departure. No refund will be given if the booking is cancelled less than three days prior to departure. There is no refund if the guest is late or does not show. Hotel-only bookings cannot be cancelled after payment.
• Under any special circumstances (such as the weather), we reserve the right to cancel the tour prior to or after the date of departure. We also reserve the right to adjust/change the schedule of the tour.
• We highly recommend travel insurance.
• We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or death caused by accident, ignorance or negligence.

Privacy

• We are dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured.
• We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, and to personalise your shopping experience with us.
• Cookies are used to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart, and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer only last while you are browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer.
• We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site. The exception happens when proceeding to a checkout to finalise an order you may have made. After completing the form provided, your IP address will be stored along with a transaction number that allows us to track your order.

Security

• When purchasing from us, your financial details are passed through a secure server using the latest 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. 128-bit SSL encryption is approximated to take at least one trillion years to break, and is the industry standard.
